30 giu 2023 · Most prominently known as the keyboardist/co-producer/co-writer in Hiatus Kaiyote, the band released their third album in 2021 via Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder label, where they received their third Grammy nomination. And at the same time, Mavin produced Natalie Slade’s EP ‘Control’ (Eglo Records).
Hiatus Kaiyote (/ h aɪ ˈ eɪ t ə s k eɪ ˈ j oʊ t i / hy-AY-təs kay-YOH-tee) is an Australian jazz/funk band formed in Melbourne in 2011, made up of singer/guitarist Nai Palm, bassist Paul Bender, keyboardist Simon Mavin, and drummer Perrin Moss.
