The Sweet Inspirations are an American R&B girl group mostly known for their work as backup singers on studio recordings for other R&B and rock artists. A founding member of the group was Dionne Warwick, who was later replaced by her aunt, Cissy Houston.
The Sweet Inspirations è stato gruppo musicale vocale statunitense femminile in attività negli anni sessanta. Il gruppo era formato da Emily "Cissy" Houston (madre di Whitney ), Dee Dee Warwick , Dionne Warwick e Doris Left, queste ultime due poi sostituite da Sylvia Shemwell e Myrna Smith.

15 dic 2016 · The Sweet Inspirations had evolved from the Gospelaires group. This original backup group that was so in demand among producers, publishers, artists, and songwriters in the early '60s included Myrna's cousins Dionne and Dee Dee Warwick, Doris Troy and Judy Guions (later Judy Clay).
