24 gen 2007 · Crosscut Saw is the gem, one of their best, featuring Eleventh Hour, but every song on it is good. Black Diamond is not near as good, but I like the title track, and really like Body Talk, although it sound like nothing else Tony McPhee has done. McPhee resurrected the name in 1975 with a new line-up of Martin Kent and Mick Cook on bass and drums respectively, and a second guitarist of either Dave Wellbelove or Rick Adams. Two albums, Crosscut Saw and Black Diamond, were released in 1976 by UA. More Hogs: 1982–2003
Crosscut Saw was the first Groundhogs album I bought and I still like it. Heavy and bluesy with Tony McPhee growling away nicely. Black Diamond not as good, but an enjoyable package
