Founded in 1898, Des Moines University is a premier medical and health sciences institution that prepares students to make our world a healthier place for all people. The 10 graduate degrees offered by our three colleges provide rigorous, real-world training on a state-of-the-art campus.

Students follow a four-year curriculum that prepares them to become osteopathic physicians through an integrated program of lectures, laboratories and other experiential learning opportunities, as well as clinical experiences in the on-campus clinic, affiliate hospitals, and ambulatory care facilities.
