Dante Lam Chiu-yin ( simplified Chinese: 林超贤; traditional Chinese: 林超賢; pinyin: Lín Chāoxián, born 1 July 1964) is a Hong Kong filmmaker, actor and action choreographer. Background. He was trained in the tradition of John Woo as an assistant director and worked as an actor and producer. He often writes and supervises his own choreography.

Tra le maggiori figure del cinema d'azione contemporaneo di Hong Kong, ha lavorato come aiuto regista in alcuni film di John Woo, portando inoltre avanti la carriera di attore e di produttore. Nel 1998 ha vinto assieme a Gordon Chan l' Hong Kong Film Award per il miglior regista per Beast Cops .
Dante Lam è un regista, produttore, sceneggiatore Nei suoi 24 anni di carriera come regista ha diretto Operation Red Sea, Operation Mekong e Vampire Effect. Provost ritrae il pittore Pierre Bonnard e la moglie Marthe, una coppia che ha saputo trasformare in arte il proprio vissuto.

Dante Lam is a Hong Kong director and producer. He was trained in the tradition of John Woo as an assistant director and worked as an actor and producer. He often writes and supervises his own choreography. In 1998, he won (jointly) the Best Director Award at the 18th Hong Kong Film Awards for the police film "The Beast Criminal Police".
