Jonathan David Levin (born November 17, 1972) is an American economist and academic. He is currently the Philip H. Knight Professor and Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. On April 4, 2024, the Stanford University Board of Trustees announced Levin would become Stanford's 13th president, effective August 1, 2024.

I am pleased to share with you that after a comprehensive search, the Board of Trustees has unanimously appointed the next president of Stanford: Jonathan Levin, a Stanford alum, distinguished economist, and dean of Stanford’s Graduate School of Business since 2016. Jon will take office as president on August 1, 2024.
