13 ott 2008 · Johnny Dodds was one of the most important New Orleans musicians to play in Chicago during the 1920's, the beginning of recorded jazz. He played clarinet with King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band, Louis Armstrong's Hot Five and Seven and Jelly Roll Morton's Trio.
