  1. Gerry Rafferty. Tam Harvey. The Humblebums were a Scottish folk rock band, based in Glasgow. Its members included Billy Connolly, who later became a renowned stand-up comedian and actor; guitarist Tam Harvey; and singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty. The band was active from 1965 to 1971.

  2. Rafferty recorded a new version of his Humblebums song "Her Father Didn't Like Me Anyway" on the album Over My Head (1994). These were the last two records Rafferty produced with Hugh Murphy, who died in 1998.

It was to there that he gathered about him the musicians who would make up the first line-up of Stealers Wheel.

  7. Gerry Rafferty joined the group just before Harvey left, and he and Billy recorded at least two albums together. Rafferty went on to Stealer's Wheel and hit parade success, while Connolly enchanted the world with his improvisational stand-up comedy.
