- Why Texas Law
The University of Texas School of Law (Texas Law) is the law school of the University of Texas at Austin, a public research university in Austin, Texas. According to Texas Law’s ABA disclosures, 87.20% of the Class of 2022 obtained full-time, long-term bar passage required employment (i.e. as attorneys) nine months after graduation.
The School of Law is located at The University of Texas at Austin. This location in the heart of the capital city provides ready access to the state legislature, the Supreme Court of Texas, the federal trial and appellate court, the offices of state and federal agencies, and the libraries and other main campus facilities.
The University of Texas at Austin's School of Law is one of the premier public law schools in the country. Each year, we receive over 5,000 applications from around the globe to enroll an incoming class of around 300 students.
