On this release Scott Morris plays new arrangements of Erik Satie's music for guitar with soprano and oboe. Additional musicians including Grammy-winner Andrew York. “Phonology: The Music of Satie” was released Aug 27, 2013 on the Aix Entertainment label.
His latest recording for AIX Records is called Phonology: the Music of Erik Satie for Guitar, which includes performances with Andrew York (guitar) on historically important French guitars supplied by GSI (Guitar Salon International). The project also includes a 70-page book of Scott’s original arrangements of the music published by MidShelf Music.

I started arrangements for solo guitar, guitar and voice, and finally chamber music. The arrangements in the book cover a variety of technical levels. The 5 Nocturnes for solo guitar are the most challenging and are really appropriate for professional, concert level performances.
