8 dic 2014 · Exhume to Consume UK radio DJ John Peel was responsible for inviting a succession of then-unknown, highly-extreme hardcore/punk/metal bands to lay down tracks to air on his national UK radio show in the late '80s.
Carcass are an English extreme metal band from Liverpool, formed in 1985. The band have gone through several line-up changes, leaving guitarist Bill Steer and bassist-vocalist Jeff Walker as the only constant members.

Carcass' Peel Session was first broadcasted on December 13th, 1988. First Transmission: January 2nd, 1989. The tracks also appear on the compilation Choice Cuts .
