Catweazle is a British children's fantasy television series, starring Geoffrey Bayldon in the title role, and created by Richard Carpenter for London Weekend Television. The first series, produced and directed in 1969 by Quentin Lawrence, was screened in the UK on ITV in 1970.
Catweazle: Created by Richard Carpenter. With Geoffrey Bayldon, Robin Davies, Gary Warren, Charles 'Bud' Tingwell. A medieval wizard (though not a very good one) is transported to the modern age.

Catweazle, an 11th century magician, is conjuring in his cave when his enemies suddenly burst in. He flees, casting a spell to make himself fly. However, something goes wrong because the spell transports him to the 20th century instead.
Catweazle finds himself a new home – and a rather fetching old tricycle – in an abandoned railway station (“Duck Halt”) and sets about finding the mystic 13th (yes, thirteenth) sign of the zodiac to return to his own time, while Cedric hopes to restore his family fortune by finding the lost Collingford treasure.
