{Awayland} is the second studio album by Irish indie folk band Villagers, released on 11 January 2013 on Domino Records. Co-produced by band members Conor O'Brien and Tommy McLaughlin, the album was preceded by the single, "Nothing Arrived".

Awayland è il secondo album discografico in studio del gruppo musicale irlandese Villagers, pubblicato nel 2013.
Improvvisamente ci si trova incapaci di comporre canzoni, seduti col tè e la chitarra, il silenzio romba di un vuoto terrificante. Da qui esce “{Awayland}”, composto con occhi da bambino che frugano il mondo in cerca di orizzonti sconfinati, fatti di aperture strumentali barocche, roboanti, infantili appunto.

The follow up to the Mercury-nominated and Ivor Novello Award winning debut, Becoming a Jackal, was written by Villagers’ Conor O’Brien and was produced and mixed in Ireland by Conor with bandmate Tommy McLaughlin.
