Patrick Philippe Moraz (Morges, 24 giugno 1948) è un tastierista svizzero di rock progressivo. È noto tra l'altro per aver suonato con i gruppi Yes (1974-1976) e The Moody Blues (1979-1991), oltre che come solista.
Patrick Philippe Moraz (born 24 June 1948) is a Swiss musician, film composer and songwriter, best known for his tenures as keyboardist in the rock bands Yes and the Moody Blues. Born into a musical family, Moraz learned music at a young age and studied at the Lausanne Conservatory.
Patrick Moraz is a Swiss progressive rock keyboardist with a classical musical education acquired at the Conservatory of Lausanne, in Switzerland. He also played jazz primarily before entering into the progressive rock world and he has also been highly acclaimed for his musical virtuosity.
Swiss virtuoso bass player Patrick Perrier and heavyweight multi-instrumentalist on tenor saxophone Dave VanSuch, both perform on MAP as well. Patrick Moraz has released a limited-edition 19-disc box set containing his entire solo catalogue.
In August of 1974 Patrick Moraz was invited to become the keyboardist and member of one of the biggest rock bands in the world: “YES”.
