Fokestar is the first EP by Canadian singer-songwriter Luke Doucet. The EP was released digitally in 2006 in Canada. It contains five songs, two of which, "Long Haul Driver" and "Bombs Away", are early versions of songs which would be rerecorded for Doucet's next album, Blood's Too Rich .
Luke Doucet (born June 9, 1973) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has written and performed as a solo artist and as a member of the indie rock band Veal and the folk rock band Whitehorse.
Foke Star highlights the solid foundations of Doucet's songwriting and strumming abilities, and includes the road-weary track Long Haul Driver, which later appears in full electric glory on Blood's Too Rich.
