Tone Dogs: Ankety Low Day. Art-rock with a hard edge, surreal lyrics, odd meters and unusual instrumentation. Tone Dogs were formed in 1987 as a collaboration between bass players Fred Chalenor, Amy Denio and recording engineer Drew Canulette.
Drummer Matt Cameron, known for his work in the alternative rock group Soundgarden, was recruited to perform on the band's 1990 debut album Ankety Low Day. The band has also performed with Fred Frith of Henry Cow and Hans Reichel.
