Innanzitutto vorrei precisare che il titolo The emperor's soul (Elantris book 2) non è corretto: questo racconto è ambientato nello stesso mondo di Elantris, ma i personaggi, i luoghi, la trama sono completamente nuovi, non si tratta di un seguito. Detto questo, come in ogni libro di questo autore, a fare da padrone è l'originalità!

21 mar 2013 · Emperor's Soul does a great job of fitting a deep story into a small page count. It's scope is extremely focused on telling Shai's story but alludes to greater depths in both the characters and the magic system Sanderson created. If you want a good fantasy book you can read in one or two sittings and enjoy every second of it, I highly recommend it!
