    Yuko Yamaguchi is a Sanrio staff member who has created the characters Tabitha Dean and Sambo and Hannah. She is an illustrator and is also the 3rd designer of Hello Kitty. Yuko has also worked on Jewelpet since 2008.

    Yuko would later pen a memoir in 2009 detailing her experiences as Hello Kitty's current designer titled Tears of Kitty.
