Hydra is the sixth studio album by the heavy metal band Otep. It was released in 2013 on Victory Records. Hydra is a concept album. This is their only album to feature drum programming as opposed to live drums. It is the band's last album on Victory, as they completed their three-album contract with this record.

22 gen 2013 · Otep has a unique sound. Hydra is definitely heavy. A lot of metal bands wish they sounded more like this. Seductive, Destructive, Necromantic, Voyeuristic, Crushing, and Rising are words one may use to explain this fan favorite. Instrumentation is good.

22 gen 2013 · Otep Shamaya è una cantante poliedrica dalla vena artistica sempre pulsante, prova ne è il fatto che scrive, compone, dipinge, si cimenta in diverse forme artistiche e con la sua band ha messo a segno nel corso degli anni diversi colpi ben assestati, ma questo “Hydra” è davvero un album indigesto.
