Niclas Lundgren (born October 15, 1989) is a Swedish ice hockey defenceman. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played with the Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).

Niclas Gustaf Lundgren, född 15 oktober 1989 i Västerås, är en svensk professionell ishockeyspelare som spelar för Mikkelin Jukurit i Liiga. Lundgren påbörjade sin seniorkarriär med moderklubben Västerås IK. Han lämnade laget, och Hockeyallsvenskan, efter fem säsonger då han 2012 skrev på för Växjö Lakers HC i SHL.

This is the only Meshuggah record featuring drummer Niclas Lundgren. Tomas Haake later replaced Lundgren on drums. The track "Cadaverous Mastication" was included on their first studio album, Contradictions Collapse.
In late -89 drummer Niclas Lundgren decided to leave the band. Tomas Haake joined on drums in -90, before Meshuggah recorded their first LP, “Contradictions Collapse” which was released in 1991. The band had during -90 signed a record deal with the German record label Nuclear Blast.
