This is the first Feluda novel written by Satyajit Ray . Plot. Aurangzeb Ring Case. Feluda along with Topshe and Topshe's father decide to visit Dhirendra Kumar Sanyal (or Dhiru Kaka, as called by Topshe), who lives in Lucknow. Feluda now works for a bank. They reach Dhiru Kaka's house.

It was the very first among the total 35 complete stories/novels of Feluda series. The story first appeared in 1965 in the children's magazine Sandesh.
Summaries. A well-known detective must catch a thief who seems to be trying to steal the ring of the long-dead Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Feluda and his cousin Topshe goes to Lucknow with Topshe's father to spend the Puja vacation. They arrived at the house of Dhirendra Kumar Sanyal, a friend of Topshe's father.
