Official website. Far East Family Band biography. Founded in Japan in 1972 (initially as "FAR OUT") - Disbanded in 1978. This is a legendary Japanese band, the first line-up included the known synthesizer player KITARO.
Far East Family Band was a Japanese Psychedelic-Progressive-Rock band that started out as Far Out in 1973, and changed names in 1975 to FEFB, which was founded by, among others, Fumio Miyashita. A certain Kitaro was added later as an extra keyboardist.
