Confession of a Child of the Century (French: Confession d'un enfant du siècle) is a 2012 historical drama film written and directed by Sylvie Verheyde, based on Alfred de Musset's 1836 autobiographical novel of the same name.

Octave (Pete Doherty) è tradito dalla sua amante, disperato si dà a ogni vizio, muore suo padre, va in campagna, incontra una giovane vedova, Brigitte (Charlotte Gainsbourg). Il che sarebbe una fortuna, ma non in questo Ottocento da cartolina dove ogni passione sfiorisce e si scolora nella disillusione. Il film sembra un brutto fotoromanzo.
