  1. The Television Workshop, formerly known as the Central Junior Television Workshop is a British organisation that offers training for young people in performance skills for television, film, radio and theatre.

  2. The Television Workshop trains young people between the ages of 7 and 21 at its bases in Nottingham and Manchester. Sessions are held weekly and taught in three ages groups: 7 - 11 years, 11 - 16 years and 16 - 21 years. We also run a group for recent alumni.

  6. How to apply. You can apply at any time during the year but auditions are held annually. For the 11-16 and over 16 Groups the auditions are held each year during the Easter holidays. For the Under 11s (those in Years 3-5) the auditions are held during the May half term.
