Layne Thomas Staley, nato Layne Rutherford Staley (Kirkland, 22 agosto 1967 – Seattle, 5 aprile 2002), è stato un cantante statunitense. Cofondatore e frontman del gruppo grunge Alice in Chains e dei Mad Season , è ricordato soprattutto per la sua voce carica di emotività e per la sua personalità chiusa e tormentata, che lo resero una delle icone di questo genere .
