Non ci saremmo davvero aspettati nulla di stimolante da una nuova uscita targata DevilDriver, soprattutto dopo il noioso e prevedibile “Pray For Villains”, ma “Beast” ci spiazza, mettendo in campo una scrittura musicale più elaborata e riuscendo ad indovinare i brani in modo inatteso.
Beast (2011) DevilDriver's fifth album Beast was recorded at Sonic Ranch studios in Tornillo, Texas with producer Mark Lewis, and released February 22, 2011. John Boecklin confirmed that the new album was mixed by Andy Sneap at his Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England in July.
Il modello Beast è un’arma automatica che solo i professionisti più esperti possono produrre e maneggiare. Ha caratteristiche analoghe ad altri modelli, fa quello che altre armi fanno però garantisce maggiore deflagrazione, risultati debordanti: il bersaglio non si centra, si spappola.
