Johann Georg Hamann (Königsberg, 27 agosto 1730 – Münster, 21 giugno 1788) è stato un filosofo prussiano, tra le più importanti personalità del Contro-Illuminismo, fu il principale sostenitore dello Sturm und Drang e il maestro di Herder e di Jacobi.

Musicista (Augusta 1719 - Salisburgo 1787). È soprattutto noto per la parte avuta nella educazione musicale del figlio Wolfgang Amadeus. Autore di musiche strumentali e di opere teatrali rimaste nell'oscurità, si segnalò come violinista; è ricordato un suo metodo violinistico: Versuch einer gründlichen Violinschule (1756).
Johann Georg I. Der Kurfürst Johann Georg I. von Sachsen (* 5. März 1585 in Dresden; † 8. Oktober 1656 ebenda) war ein Fürst aus dem Hause Wettin ( albertinische Linie). Ab dem 23. Juni 1611 war er Kurfürst von Sachsen und Erzmarschall des Heiligen Römischen Reiches.
ZIMMERMANN, Johann Georg Filosofo e scrittore tedesco, nato l'8 dicembre 1728 a Brugg nella Svizzera, morto il 7 ottobre 1795 a Hannover. Laureato in medicina a Gottinga nel 1781, visitò la Francia e l'Olanda e dopo un breve soggiorno a Berna fu, dal 1754 al 1768, medico a Brugg.
