23 dic 2020 · After a short time working for the General Post Office in London, Edwin Dodgson became a missionary with the Society for the Propagation of the Gospels, and after a short spell in Zanzibar, spent much of his time on the remote islands in the Atlantic Ocean, principally Tristan da Cunha.
Wilfred arrived in Oxford on January 28. He was alone, because the other executor, his brother Edwin, was out of the country. He spent the day looking through the dead man's possessions and stayed overnight with Dodgson's old friend and colleague, Thomas Vere Bayne.
