25 giu 2024 · Nigel Perrin: RIP. We are sad to report the loss of another legend of our group. Nigel Perrin was our first countertenor from 1969-1978, and did so much in those early years to define the sound and character of the group with his beautiful singing.

26 giu 2024 · One of the earliest King's Singers has died: countertenor Nigel Perrin, whose family recently announced his passing at age 76. "Nigel brought the most incredible gift into the world and shared it with hundreds of thousands of people over the course of his amazing life," posted his widow, Kate Perrin .
Nigel Perrin (1947–2024) was musical director of the Bath Bach Choir from 1990 until 2022. Paul Phoenix founded his own consultancy, PurpleVocals, and in September 2019 opened the Paul Phoenix Academy, his own private music school in Hong Kong.
Nigel Perrin was an internationally renowned choral director. He began his career as the high voice of the world-famous King’s Singers before moving to the West Country to embark on a new life as a teacher and choral director.
