30 giu 2023 · The Storyline. “The Story of Sin” follows the life of Ewa, the daughter of a bourgeois family, who falls in love with a handsome but poor young man, Lukasz. As their illicit relationship deepens, Ewa descends into a world of lust and obsession that challenges the societal norms of the time.
The sheltered daughter of an impoverished and decaying noble family, she moves from illicit passion with a married man to infanticide, prostitution and murder. Yet if the details of Ewa's story are sensational, Borowczyk's handling of them never is.
