The Doon School (informally Doon School or Doon) is a selective all-boys private boarding school in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, which was established in 1935. It was envisioned by Satish Ranjan Das, a lawyer from Calcutta, as a school modelled on the British public school while remaining conscious of Indian ambitions and desires.

Founded in 2007, The Doon School Model United Nations Conference is the largest student-run MUN in India, attracting students from across the nation and beyond. Over the years, delegates in DSMUN have engaged in discussions on world affairs, and drafting resolutions to address these pressing issues.
Our mission is: To attract and develop exceptional boys and teachers from all backgrounds to serve a meritocratic India; inspire them to be just and ethical citizens; train them to be wise and principled leaders; and prepare them to enter one of the strongest alumni fraternities – for life.
The Doon School provides holistic education to students encompassing different spheres of learning that helps them nurture the leader within. It specializes in a fully boarding education and has done so consistently and without wavering from this core characteristic since its foundation in 1935.
