Ampage is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles formed in 1978. Over the years its members included musicians such as Earl Slick, who also worked as a lead guitarist for David Bowie, and Mark Englert of Dramarama. The band played in Sunset Strip clubs such as Whisky in the 1980s Glam metal scene.

12 ott 2023 · In 2020, Ampage embarked on a new adventure, capturing their incredible journey in a compelling documentary titled “Falling Higher.” This film takes an inside look into the band’s life on the Sunset Strip, where they navigated controversies and celebrated triumphs.
Ampage was one of the unknown bands to pass through the quirky label, releasing one self-titled record before vanishing into thin air. The band plays a straight-up brand of hard rock not unlike that of early Motley Crue or Riot, which isn't surprising considering Ampage called Hollywood Blvd home.
