The Style Council were a British band formed in late 1982 by Paul Weller, the former lead vocalist, principal songwriter and guitarist with the Jam, and keyboardist Mick Talbot, previously a member of Dexys Midnight Runners, the Bureau and the Merton Parkas.

1 mar 2024 · Gli Style Council sono stati una rock band britannica fondata a Woking (Inghilterra) nel 1983 e scioltasi nel 1989. La nascita della band. Dopo lo scioglimento di The Jam, Paul Weller sentì il bisogno di esplorare nuove direzioni musicali. Così, insieme al tastierista Mick Talbot, formò The Style Council.
