The people in the world of Flotsam have met a terrible fate. But with your help they can still make the best of it. Get to work with your crew of happy go-getters. Fish, distill water, collect driftwood and plastic or build a new inventive structure. Making sure you can stay afloat.
Remnants of the old world can be found everywhere. Re-discover old technology to improve your town. But be careful your drifters don’t get sick. The old world is polluted..
Most people still cling to the old ways and build small driftwood shacks on protruding islands. Food scarcity, garbage floods and storms left settlers and animals stranded and in need of your help. Save the poor souls and welcome them aboard in your family of drifters.

Partendo da una giornata al mare completamente ordinaria – la prima tavola ritrae il protagonista su una spiaggia sull’oceano – ci porta in un sistema di sguardi, che si affacciano su mondi reali e immaginari diversi tra loro e a volte molto lontani.

Flotsam is a survival simulation video game developed and published by Pajama Llama Games, which released in early access on Steam, Kartridge, GoG, Itch.io and Humble Store on September 26, 2019. It was previously published by Kongregate, until the developers self-published it in 2020.
Flotsam è la risposta alle ansie della società del 2019 che sente parlare di ghiacciai in via di scioglimento ed aumento del livello del mare, estinzione di specie e cambiamenti climatici su larga scala che porteranno ad un mondo completamente sommerso dagli oceani.
