The band is called UniKuE. The music is progressive rock – played on ukuleles. South African bassist Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon) was recruited to play on a couple of the tracks (Steely Dan’s “Kid Charlemagne” and Jethro Tull’s “Living In The Past”).
UniKue is more than a "concept band". It is an "musical juggernaut" that so craftfully melds the best of Prog and Claasic Rock with the pleasing sweetness of instruments that until now were mostly used to play Hawaiian music at a luau, namely ukuleles.
