Jason Rosanoff Cropper (born June 27, 1971) is an American musician. He was a founding member and the guitarist of the American alternative rock band Weezer. He left the band before the release of their debut album Weezer.
Jason Cropper is an Oakland native and resident who has a long history in the music industry. Jason's career began during his time in LA as a founding member and original guitarist of the band Weezer. He was signed for three years to Geffen Records and is credited as a contributing writer on their eponymous Blue Album.
