I Blackfield sono un gruppo musicale art rock nato nel 2004 dalla collaborazione del cantautore e musicista britannico Steven Wilson e del polistrumentista israeliano Aviv Geffen.

BLACKFIELD is an collaboration of the British musician Steven WILSON (PORCUPINE TREE, NO-MAN, I.E.M.) and Aviv GEFFEN who is an Israeli songwriter. Their style is also very similar to "newer" PORCUPINE TREE works. The songs are about 3/5 minutes long, bit pop-edged, but well done!
Leggero, piacevole quanto prescindibile, ben registrato (anche in 5.1) ma con poco carattere e una personalità appannata, IV si conferma un disco non brillante, più formulaico di quanto ci si sarebbe attesi, stanco, quasi da sottofondo. Poteva essere un temporale, e invece ha lasciato solo poche gocce sull’asfalto.
15 gen 2017 · Come avevamo già annunciato, il BLACKFIELD di Steven Wilson (PORCUPINE TREE) e Aviv Geffen pubblicheranno il nuovo album “Blackfield V” su Kscope. La release, inizialmente prevista per novembre, uscirà il prossimo 10 febbraio.
