I, the Worst of All (Spanish: Yo, la peor de todas) is an Argentine film directed by María Luisa Bemberg. The film was released in 1990 and is a biopic on the life of Juana Inés de la Cruz. It was based on Octavio Paz's Sor Juana: Or, the Traps of Faith.

This fact-based film examines the life of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz (Assumpta Serna), a Roman Catholic nun from Mexico City who, in the midst of the Spanish Inquisition, established herself as an important New World philosopher, poet, playwright and early feminist.
The two women become friends and share a feeling of sadness over the terrible treatment of their sex by men in power. Thanks to a liberal abbess at the convent, Sister Juana is able to meet with the leading writers and scholars of the day, all of whom hold her in high regard.
Directed by María Luisa Bemberg. Synopsis. Assumpta Serna stars as the brilliant and beautiful poet Sister Juana Inés de la Cruz in this magnificent portrayal of 17th Century Mexico. In order to pursue her love of writing, Juana enters the convent and gains international renown.
