Matanuska-Susitna College (MSC) is an extended college of the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). The University of Alaska Anchorage has been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) since 1974.
Matanuska-Susitna College offers Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree programs, Undergraduate Certificates and Occupational Endorsement Certificates.
Matanuska–Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska, north of Anchorage, is part of the University of Alaska Anchorage system. The college began in 1958 as Palmer Community College, changing its name in 1963 to correspond to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough where it is located.
Mat-Su College is a student-friendly campus offering small class sizes and state-of-the-art facilities, including paramedic classrooms with a fully equipped ambulance bay, updated science labs, and a 520-seat performing arts theater. ACADEMIC YEAR 2023.
