22 set 2018 · Sadly, we must reveal that both Dave Foster and Yatim Halimi have decided that their time with Panic Room is over. First of all, we want to assure everyone that these two individual decisions to leave the band have nothing to do with that old chestnut - ‘musical differences’.
Yatim Halimi is a world-class bassist, who brings his unique talent and immense passion to PANIC ROOM. He is a truly gifted musician, and a perfectionist in all of his musical work; but Yatim also possesses a natural warmth and enthusiasm which is highly infectious, and makes people smile!
In late 2018 Panic Room announced that both Dave Foster and Yatim Halimi were leaving the band due to pressure of other commitments, but that remaining founder members, Jonathan Edwards, Gavin Griffiths and Anne-Marie Helder were committed to continue making music as Panic Room.
