Citizen Smith is a British television sitcom written by John Sullivan, first broadcast from 1977 to 1980. It starred Robert Lindsay as Walter Henry "Wolfie" Smith, a young Marxist "urban guerrilla" in Tooting, south London, who is attempting to emulate his hero Che Guevara.
Citizen Smith: With Robert Lindsay, Mike Grady, Hilda Braid, Tony Millan. Wolfie Smith is an unemployed dreamer from Tooting. He leads a small group called the Tooting Popular Front with aspirations to create a communist Britain. However, as a result of being disorganised, his chances range from slim to none.
