Ids Hylke Postma (born 28 December 1973) is a Dutch former speed skater. He is an Olympic gold medalist and former world champion. In 1993 Postma finished 2nd at the Speedskating World Championships for Juniors.

Ids Hylke Postma ( Deersum, 28 december 1973) is een voormalig Nederlands langebaanschaatser . Biografie. Postma liet meteen van zich spreken door in zijn debuutjaar bij de junioren (1993) een zilveren medaille te halen tijden het WK voor junioren dat werd gehouden in het Italiaanse Baselga di Pinè.

Postma won his second world title at the end of the Olympic season, and also bagged the 1500 m World Cup. The next years, Postma won back-to-back world titles in the 1500 m, but never again won an international allround event. In 2000 and 2001, he was runner-up at the World Championships and bronze medallist at the Europeans.
