Accident of Birth is the fourth studio album by Bruce Dickinson, released on 3 June 1997 through Castle Communications' sub‑label Raw Power in the UK and through CMC International in the US. Dickinson's second collaboration with guitarist/producer Roy Z, the album is markedly different in style from his previous effort, Skunkworks.

27 apr 2017 · Quando è uscito quest’album dicevo sempre che Bruce si sarebbe messo in culo i Maiden, poi c’è tornato e vabbé, ma Accident of Birth dopo vent’anni è ancora bellissimo (The Chemical Wedding pure) e ancora non capisco la raison d’être della Vergine di Ferro nel 2017.
Descrizione. Dopo il mancato successo di Skunkworks, Dickinson rivoluziona nuovamente la band richiamando Roy Z ed alcuni membri dei Tribe of Gypsies e ritrova Adrian Smith, già suo compagno negli Iron Maiden, come seconda chitarra.

5 ott 2004 · Nel 1997 Bruce Dickinson si accorcia ulteriormente i capelli, abbandona il progetto Skunkwors, ritorna con i Tribe of Gypsies, chiama con sè il vecchio amico Adrian Smith e se ne esce con un album che lo riconferma decisamente come uno dei nomi importanti del metal, dopo i dubbi suscitati dai precedenti lavori da solista.
