The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is a drama school located in Barons Court, London. It is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools.
A world-leading conservatoire, we offer exceptional vocational training to actors, stage managers, technicians, directors and designers, regardless of their background or economic circumstances.
If you're looking to join us from September 2024, this year's application process is different to previous years. Applicants (excluding applicants who wish to audition in North America) can now apply via UCAS. Please see a summary of the process below.

The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, in short known as LAMDA, is a conservatoire that has been training artists for over 160 years. The academy’s current home is in Baron’s Court, West London, the former home of the Royal Ballet School, where it has been situated since 2003.
