Hildegard Frieda Albertine Knef (German: [ˈhɪl.də.ɡaʁt ˈkneːf] ⓘ; 28 December 1925 – 1 February 2002) was a German actress, singer, and writer. She was billed in some English-language films as Hildegard Neff or Hildegarde Neff.
Hildegard Frieda Albertine Knef [ kneːf] (* 28. Dezember 1925 in Ulm; † 1. Februar 2002 in Berlin) war eine deutsche Schauspielerin, Synchronsprecherin, Chansonsängerin und Autorin. Während sie im deutschsprachigen Raum als Hildegard Knef bekannt war, nannte sie sich von 1948 bis circa 1968 außerhalb des deutschsprachigen Raumes Hildegarde Neff.
Hildegard Knef was a German actress, writer, singer and stage star who appeared in films such as The Sinner, Fedora and Lulu. She wrote an autobiographical bestseller, fought cancer several times and died in 2002.
