Emil Jannings, nato Theodor Friedrich Emil Janenz (Rorschach, 23 luglio 1884 – Strobl, 3 gennaio 1950) è stato un attore tedesco naturalizzato austriaco. Fu il massimo esponente del cinema del suo paese negli anni venti e trenta rappresentando egregiamente il tipo romantico-ottocentesco del grande attore di prosa.
Emil Jannings (born Theodor Friedrich Emil Janenz, 23 July 1884 – 2 January 1950) was a Swiss-born German actor who was popular in Hollywood in the 1920s. He was the first recipient of the Academy Award for Best Actor for his roles in The Last Command and The Way of All Flesh .
