Katherine Marie Helmond (July 5, 1929 – February 23, 2019) was an American actress. Over an acting career spanning six decades, she was best known for her starring role as Jessica Tate on the sitcom Soap (1977–1981) and her co-starring role as Mona Robinson on Who's the Boss?
Biografia. Figlia unica di Joseph P. Helmond e Thelma Malone, è famosa per aver interpretato Jessica Tate nella sitcom statunitense Bolle di sapone. Ha inoltre interpretato Lois nella sitcom Tutti amano Raymond. Ha inoltre prestato la sua voce a Lizzie nei film d'animazione Cars - Motori ruggenti (2006), Cars 2 (2011) e in Cars 3 (2017).
