Die Fachwelt schätzte ihn als einen der letzten großen, international tätigen Charakterdarsteller des Theaters.
Heinz Bennent (18 July 1921 – 12 October 2011 [1]) was a German actor. Biography. Bennent was born in Stolberg. He was conscripted into the Luftwaffe during World War II, [2] where he was captured by Allied forces and spent much of the war in POW camps. [3] . His career began after the war in Göttingen.

Heinz Bennent was born on 18 July 1921 in Stolberg, Germany. He was an actor, known for Possession (1981), The Last Metro (1980) and Im Jahr der Schildkröte (1988). He was married to Paulette Renou. He died on 12 October 2011 in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland.
