Our Story. The vision of Shame and Regret began with Joe Campana, Matt Baumgartner, and one-too-many cocktails. As long-time friends, co-workers, and business partners, Joe and Matt had entertained the idea of opening their own bar together in Colorado Springs.
The Cork & Cask Story. The dream of an upscale wine and whiskey bar began with Lucas Frye and Joe Campana — two long-time business partners who had met during their time at Phantom Canyon Brewing Co. But the vision of Cork & Cask began with a passion for quality, an appreciation for the Downtown community, and a few velvet Victorian chairs.
