Nico Erik Rosberg (in tedesco: [ˈʁɔːzbɛʁk]; in finlandese: [ˈruːsbæri]; Wiesbaden, 27 giugno 1985) è un ex pilota automobilistico tedesco con cittadinanza finlandese, campione del mondo di Formula 1 nel 2016.
Nico Erik Rosberg (born 27 June 1985) is a German and Finnish entrepreneur and former professional racing driver. He competed in Formula One from 2006 to 2016, winning the World Drivers' Championship in 2016 with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport.
Nico scored the highest score in the team’s history. He achieved two podium finishes for the team in 2008. For 2010, he moved to Mercedes, partnering fellow German and seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher. Rosberg took his first career win at the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix.
When he was just six years old Nico Rosberg decided he was going to emulate his famous father and become a Formula One World Champion. It seemed a far-fetched fantasy, even for a boy benefitting from a privileged upbringing in Monaco.
